SÅDANJA Design
Bag kunstnernavnet SÅDANJA finder man Anja Nielsen, der er autodidakt tæppemager. Hun forsøger gennem tuftede værker at bringe de bløde tekstiler tilbage i boligindretningen. Værkerne er skabt i garn ved hjælp af et hånddrevet værktøj, Danella- nålen, eller en tuftepistol, hvor tankerne ledes tilbage til 70’ernes ryatæppe tekstur. Hun ønsker at bringe dig en farverig og lunefuld oplevelse med en taktil sansning fortolket i en moderne og samtidsskabende kontekst.

Behind the artist name SÅDANJA you’ll find Anja Nielsen, who is an autodidact carpet maker. Through tufted artworks she brings soft and alternative textures in to households across for decoravtive purposes. The artworks are crafted in all types of yarns with use of a hand held tool, Danella needle and a powered tufting gun where we are transcended back to the 70’s characteristic ryacarpet textures. She wants to bring a colorful and romantic sensory experience in to our homes through a contemporary approach to DIY craftsmanship in a modern context.
